Learn to Play Hockey Like the Pros at Flyers Skate Zone

Flyers Skate Zone has developed a progressive hockey skills development program that is designed to provide skills instruction for players of all ages and ability levels. These hockey clinics are designed as an introductory program focusing on the basic skills of hockey, with an emphasis on having FUN! Clinics teach the fundemental skills of skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting. While providing the participant with the opportunity to develop confidence and a positive self-image while experiencing achievement throughout the program.

Level I - Learn To Play Hockey (children who have never skated before should start with our learn to skate program)

This is our starter hockey program for children with some basic skating skills who wish to try hockey. This level is designed to be fun and teach the basic skating and puck skills necessary to have a positive experience playing hockey.

Level II - Intermediate Skills Development (for level I graduates)

Level II is a progression continuation from the basic skills taught in level I. Skating for hockey will continue to be the primary focus, along with an emphasis on skating with the puck, passing, and shooting.

Level III- Skills & Thrills (for level II graduates and Flyers youth hockey league players)
